A 15 minute drive will take you to the Ondara Shopping Centre and the motorway to both Valencia and Alicante, both, 1 hour away. Orba is a typical authentic Spanish village with a supermarket (stocking a good range of UK foods), shops, bakery, bodegas, cafes, restaurants, bars and a weekly market. There is also an English shop selling a vast range of UK products. Golf is also available at Oliva, Javea and Denia and beaches are from just 20mins away by car. The towns of Moraira is around 30 minutes and Benidorm 40mins. Car hire or use of a car is essential. Beyond the town of Jalon and nearby village of Lliber, other pretty villages including Alcalali, Parcent, Murla and Sagra, are all dotted along the the Orba Valley. There are plenty of activities for all the family nearby such as water sports, horse riding, tennis, go-karting, golfing, and cycling.
